Mrs. Bessie Patricia Carter Brown Departed this life December 23, 2022. She was preceded in death by her son, Corwin L. Brown. She is survived by her daughter, Charmayne B. Vincent; one grandson, Bobby Vincent III; two sisters, Lillian C. McCollum and Cynthia C. Brown; several nieces, nephews and cousins and other family and devoted friends among them Charlie Brown and Thurman Smith Jr. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Ave where Mrs. Brown can be viewed Thursday January 5 from 10 to 8PM. Funeral services will be held 11AM Friday January 6 at Third Street Bethel AME Church, 614 North Third Street. Rev. Reuben Boyd, pastor. Interment Riverview Cemetery. Family and friends assemble at the church 10:45AM Friday January 6. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Thursday from 6-8pm. Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Incorporated will conduct an Omega Omega service Thursday at 6pm.
