Departed this life February 3rd, 2023. Deacon Bessie M. Hicks, age 89, of Richmond. She is survived by her Riverview Baptist Church family among them a devoted Martha Ruley and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue where Deacon Hicks can be viewed Sunday from 11AM to 5:30PM and where funeral services will be held Monday at 11AM. Interment Riverview Cemetery. Family and friends assemble at the funeral home 10:45AM Monday.
