Beverly Batts

Departed this life February 22nd, 2023. Mrs. Beverly Batts, age 74, of Richmond. She is preceded in death by one daughter, Katrina Ford. She is survived by two grandsons, Lavar and Javon(Hilda) Ford; seven great-grandchildren; one brother, Lawrence Ford(Annette); a host of nieces among them devoted Wanda Scales and Keisha Ford; nephews and cousins; and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue where Mrs. Batts can be viewed Wednesday from 10AM to 8PM. Funeral services will be held Thursday 1PM at First Union Baptist Church, 3510 Dill Road where remains will lie in state one hour prior to funeral time. Rev. Pierce Williams(pastor). Family and friends assemble at the church 12:45PM Thursday.
