Bobby Avens

Departed this life October 14, 2018.  Bobby Avens, of Richmond, formerly of Emporia.  He is survived by one daughter, Charonda Avens;  one sister, Nadine Peeples(Albert);  a host of nieces, nephews and cousins;  and other relatives and friends among them Mike, Charles  and Stokes.  Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr.  Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue where the family will receive friends from 3 to 4PM Sunday and where funeral services will be held Monday at 11AM.  Interment Poplar Mt.  Baptist Church Cemetery, Lawrenceville, Virginia.  Dr. Vaughn Cunningham, officiating. Family and friends assemble at the funeral home 10:45AM Monday.
