Carl McClatchie

McClatchie, Carl Donald, I, 68, of Richmond, Va., departed this life on January 15, 2022. Carl was born in Trinidad & Tobago on August 6, 1953. He was the owner of McClatchie Tree Service for over 35 years and was known for his strong work ethic and very generous spirit. He was preceded in death by his parents, Samuel and Amy McClatchie, his brothers, Colville, Fitzroy (Yuille), Irvin Phillip (Dianne), Gilbert (Vero) and sister, Sylvia Knights (McDonald). Carl is survived by his children, Bianca, Carl II and Khadeem Jonas, his grandson, Caleb, his siblings, Lloyd (Janice), Frederick, Claudette, Kathleen, Esther, Emma John (Simon), Victor, Wendy Richmond (Vincent), Wayne, Denise, Yvonne Ingram, St. Rose Jacobie and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews. The viewing will be from 10am to 8pm at Jenkins Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Ave, Richmond, VA. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 11am on Friday, January 28 at Ephesus SDA Church, 3700 Midlothian Turnpike, Richmond, VA.
