Carrie H. Giles

Departed this life May 30, 2018.  Mrs.  Carrie H.  Giles, age 90, of Richmond.  She is preceded in death by her husband, James E.  Giles Sr. and one son, Casterdara Giles.  She is survived by one daughter, Bernadette Anderson(McDaniel);  one son, James E.  Giles Jr.(Alana);  two grandchildren, Nadia Anderson and Karl E.  Giles;  two sisters, Barbara Wherry(William) and Marilyn Haley;  a host of nieces and nephews; and other relatives and friends.  Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr.  Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue where the family will receive friends from 6:30 to 7:30PM Friday.  Funeral services will be held Saturday 11AM at Riverview Baptist Church, 2604 Idlewood Avenue where remains will lie in state one hour prior to funeral time.  Dr.  Stephen Hewlett(pastor) off.  Interment Riverview Cemetery.  Family and friends assemble at the church 10:45AM Saturday.
