Catherine "Katie" Herbert Smith

Departed this life March 30, 2019.  Catherine Herbert “Katie” Smith, age 81, formerly of 2200 block of Idlewood Avenue.  She is preceded in death by four children,  Kenneth Herbert(Deborah), Charles Edward Smith Jr., Donna S.  Allen(James) and Rodney Harold Smith.  She is survived by two daughters, Denise M.  Smith(Ernest) and Sonya L.  Conner(Kaviet);  ten grandchildren;  19 great grandchildren;  one sister, Tanza Hutchinson;  a host of nieces, nephews and cousins;  one sister- in- law, Jean Herbert;  and other relatives and friends.  Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr.  Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue where funeral services will be held Saturday at 2PM.  Interment private.  Family and friends assemble at the funeral home 1:45PM Saturday.
