Charles Herbert Simpson Sr.

Departed this life April 9, 2019.  Charles Herbert Simpson Sr., age 66, of Richmond.  He is preceded in death by one son, Charles Herbert Simpson Jr.  He is survived by one son, Danzel Simpson;  two grandchildren;  five sisters, Diane Simpson, Arlene Simpson, Annette Smith, Valerie Hicks and Janet Hicks;  two brothers, Benjamin Thornton and Jermaine Hicks;  two aunts, Patricia Christian and Carolyn Simpson;  one uncle, Willie Simpson;  a host of nieces, nephews and cousins;  one sister-in-law, Sharon Hicks;  and other relatives and friends among them a devoted Willis “Butch” Jones.  Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr.  Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue where funeral services will be held Tuesday at 12 noon.  Interment Oakwood Cemetery.   Family and friends assemble at the funeral home 11:45AM Tuesday.
