It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Christopher Leroy Green. Christopher peacefully departed from this world on August 15, 2023, leaving behind a legacy of compassion, kindness, and dedication. He was 86 years old.

Born on September 20, 1936, Christopher's journey began in this world filled with boundless potential. Throughout his life, he remained steadfast in his commitment to making a difference in the lives of those around him. A man of strong character and unwavering principles, he faced every challenge with grace and determination.



In addition to being a loving family man, Christopher was an active member of the community. Known for his warm personality and infectious laughter, he had an innate ability to make others feel valued and heard. He believed in creating connections and building bridges between people from all walks of life. Whether it was through organizations or volunteering efforts, Christopher sought to uplift those who were marginalized or in need.




Friends and family will gather to remember Christopher Leroy Green at a Funeral Service on August 19, 2023. The service will take place at the Joseph Jenkins Jr Funeral Home located at 2011 Grayland Ave, Richmond, VA 23220. 

In celebrating Christopher's life, let us remember him as the uplifting presence he was to all who had the privilege of knowing him. Though he may no longer walk beside us, his loving spirit will forever reside in our hearts. Rest in peace, dear Christopher Leroy Green.
