Clenford Cheek Sr.

Departed this life January 31, 2018. Clenford Roy Cheek Sr., age 72, of Richmond.  He is survived by four daughters, Kimberly Cheek, Sarah Cheek-Taylor(Al), Ashley R. Cheek(Leo) and E. Denise Cheek; two sons, Clenford Roy Cheek Jr. and Christopher Cheek; sixteen grandchildren; two sisters, Viviene Barbara Cheek and Carolyn Cheek-Nelson; two brothers, Reginald Cheek Sr.(Fern) and Clifford Cheek(Vivian), his twin; an uncle, Carrington Ruffin; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; and other relatives and friends among them Stephanie Callwood and Daniel Milton. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue. Funeral services will be held Monday 11am at Fifth Baptist Church, 1415 W. Cary Street where remains will lie in state one hour prior to funeral time. Rev. Earl Brown(pastor) off. Interment Virginia Veterans Cemetery at Amelia. Family and friends assemble at the church 10:45AM Monday.
