Constance "Connie" Stephens Mottley

Constance Stephens Mottley passed away suddenly on Monday, October 23, 2023. 

She always filled the room with joy and laughter. 

Connie was born on June 3, 1955 in Los Angeles, CA to the late Connie Well Stephens (Father) and Helen Ruth Stephens (Mother). 

She is survived by her 5 children - Tommy (Taniesha), Kelly (Dominic), Brandy(Joe), Michael, and Michelle.  A devoted and forever friend, Bernard Brooks. 16 grandchildren-  Jayla, William, Cordasha, Lonesha, Teajah Raheem, Gabby, Joseph, Courtney Jaiden and Simariyah Karma, Sophie, Holland, Paul, and Minnie. 3 great Grandkids, Jashon, Mattieson, Mena Brother Mark Allen Stephens (Carla) of Lawndale CA, Aunt Patricia Bates, Los Angele,s Uncle Bennie Bates, Los Angeles; 1st Cousin James Bates; California and a host of cousins, other relatives, and dear close friends.

After High School, she attended Nursing School for a year. She moved her family to Richmond, VA in 1989. She enjoyed being a Mom to her five children, Tommy, Kelly, Brandy, Michael, and Michelle. She had a way to make you smile and laugh in any situation. And loved spending time with her family.
