Departed this life September 3rd, 2022. Ms. Dakota Patrice Johnson, age 63, of Richmond. She is preceded in death by her father, Douglas A. Herbert Sr. She is survived by one daughter, Darnee M. Johnson(Tiana); one son, Brandon D. Johnson Sr.(Allison); four grandchildren, Ted, Teah, Aaliyah and Brandon Jr.; her mother, Jean C. Herbert; three sisters, Yolanda D. Herbert, Yvette M. H. Hayes(Paul); Karen M. Herbert-Gilliam; two brothers, Douglas A. Herbert Jr.(Janelle) and Thomas F. Herbert(Alex); a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins; and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue where Ms. Johnson can be viewed Friday from 10AM to 8PM and where funeral services will be held Saturday at 1PM. Rev. Tyrone Nelson off. Interment Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Family and friends assemble at the funeral home 12:45PM Saturday.
