David Sims

Departed this life January 8, 2018. David Sims Sr., age 91, of Richmond. He is survived by his wife, Annie Sims; one daughter, Arlene Sims Jenkins(Carl Sr); three sons, David Sims Jr.(Darlene), Eugene Sims Sr(Anita). and Otis Sims Sr(Angela M); thirteen grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; seven great great grandchildren; one sister, Mildred Layne; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; three sisters - in - law, Flora Baylock, Dora L. Ross and Virginia A. Price; two brothers-in-law, John and Robert Holmes. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue where funeral services will be held Saturday at 10AM. Rev. Adlai Allen off. Interment Forest Lawn Cemetery. Family and friends assemble at the funeral home 9:45AM Saturday.
