Departed this life March 17th, 2021. Deacon Joann Williams, age 59, of Richmond. She is survived by her husband Earl Williams; two daughters Sequoyah Pope and Chaliya Williams; one son Travell Pope; five grandchildren; mother Josephine Pope; two sisters Sharon McAllister and Yvonne Ferguson; two brothers Alfoniza Pope Jr. and Carl Pope; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins; and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue where Deacon Williams can be viewed Wednesday from 10AM to 8PM and where funeral services will held Thursday 11AM. Rev. William H. Smith(pastor) off. Interment Maury Cemetery. The governor’s guidance on social distancing will be adhered to. Family and friends assemble at the church 10:45AM Thursday.
