Departed this life March 11, 2018. Dexter Newsome, age 37, of Richmond. He is survived by three children, Xavier Malik Bruce Clyde Newsome, Lae’Leonni Celest Faith Marie Newsome and Daequan Newsome; father and mother, Jerry L. and Romine Newsome; maternal grandmother, Mary L. Johnson; paternal grandfather, Robert Newsome Jr.; two sisters, Stephanie D. Riley(Henry) and Gin-Nine E. Morrison(Harper); one brother, Jerry L. Newsome Jr.(Betty-Jo); three aunts, Princella Newsome, Joann N. Atkins and Camille Witherspoon; one great aunt, Romine Marable; two uncles, Troy Witherspoon and Charles Newsome; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue where funeral services will be held Monday at 2PM. Rev. Charles Cottle off. Interment private. Family and friends assemble at the funeral home 1:45PM Monday.
