Departed this life May 30th, 2024. Mrs. Dorothy Lee Iris Gissentanna, age 85, of Richmond. She is preceded in death by her husband, Samuel Gissentanna. She is survived by four daughters, Latanya Branch(Purcell Jr.), Gloria Shaw(Jerry), Charrisse Howard(Anthony Wyche), and Agnes Gissentanna, one son, Samuel Gissentanna Jr.; ten grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; four sisters, Virginia, Ernestine, Juanita and Josephine Lenyear; four brothers, Robert, Thomas, Eddie and James Lenyear(Valerie); a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue where funeral services will be held Saturday, June 15 at 11AM. Interment Forest Lawn Cemetery. Family and friends assemble at the funeral home 10:45 AM Saturday.
