Dorothy Mae Johnson

Departed this life October 8th, 2023. Mrs. Dorothy Mae Johnson, age 82, of Richmond. She is survived by two devoted children, daughter,Angela Brogdon; son, William “Bubba” Johnson III(Gloria); two grandchildren Latrice  Byrd(Aaron) and Brittany Johnson; one sister, Yvonne Mitchell; two brothers, Linwood Wyatt and Richard Wyatt; one aunt, Rosa Gee; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; two sisters- in- law, Brenda Wood Johnson and Francella Abrams; one brother- in- law, John Abrams and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue where the family will receive friends Sunday from 3 to 5PM. Funeral services will be held Monday 1PM at Fifth Baptist Church, 1415 W. Cary Street where remains will lie in state one hour prior to funeral time.   Rev. Earl Brown(pastor) off. Interment Riverview Cemetery. Family and friends assemble at the church 12:45PM Monday.
