Departed this life July 14th, 2022. Dr. William Aubrey Smith Jr., age 85, a retired U. S. Army colonel. He is preceded in death by one son, William Aubrey Smith III. He is survived by one daughter, Terry Lee Smith; two grandchildren, Jessica Smith and William Smith IV; one great-granddaughter, Three Amori Smith; one brother, Edward Oliver Smith; a host of cousins; a daughter-in-law, Monica Smith; and other relatives and friends. Memorial services will be held Tuesday, August 9th at 11AM at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue. Rev. Earl Brown off.  Family and friends assemble at the funeral home 10:45AM Tuesday.
