Edith Elizabeth Harris

Departed this life January 19, 2018. Mrs. Edith E. Harris, age 84, of Richmond. She is preceded in death by her husband, Linwood C. Harris, one daughter, Phyllis D. Harris, two sons, Linwood C. Harris Jr. and Alvin Lee Harris. She is survived by three daughters, Judith C. Smithers(Granville), Linda Harris Mitchell(Henry Jr.) and Gwendolyn A. Harris; 17 grandchildren; 34 great grandchildren; seven great great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; one brother- in-law, Edward Harris and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue. Funeral services will be held Wednesday 11AM at Sixth Mt. Zion Baptist Church, 14 W. Duval Street where remains will lie in state one hour prior to funeral time. Rev. Tyrone Nelson(pastor). Interment Oakwood Cemetery. Family and friends assemble at the church 10:45AM Wednesday.
