Edward Lee Cook

Departed this life August 15, 2018, Edward Lee Cook, age 73, of Charles City, VA.  He is preceded in death by his wife, Melissa Miles Cook; one daughter, Edwina J.  Cook and his parents, George W.  and Annie C.  Cook.  He leaves to cherish his loving memory two daughters, Angelia G. Adediran (Emmanuel) and Brenda D. Cook;  eleven grandchildren;  fourteen great-grandchildren;  one sister, Myra A. Pooler (Levell); devoted companion, Charlotte Johnson;  sister- in- law, Janet Charity and Cindy Miles;  a host of devoted nieces, nephews, and cousins;  and many cherished friends.  Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr.  Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue.  Funeral services will be held Monday 11AM at Fifth Baptist Church, 1415 W.  Cary Street where remains will lie in state one hour prior to funeral time.  Rev.  Earl Brown(pastor) off.  Interment Riverview Cemetery.  Family and friends assemble at the church 10:45AM Monday.
