Eliza Hawkins

Departed this life November 19, 2017. Ms. Eliza Hawkins, age 91, of Richmond. She is survived by two sisters, Rosa A. Jackson and Joan Williams; one brother, Lloyd Hawkins; a host of nieces among them Patricia Daniel, nephews among them Fitzhugh Jackson and cousins; two sisters- in-law, Betty and Virginia Hawkins; and other relatives and friends among them the descendents of the Hayes family. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue where the family will receive friends from 6:30 to 7:30pm Friday. Funeral services will be held Saturday 12 noon at Mt. Vernon Baptist Church, 1902 Rosewood Avenue where remains will lie in state one hour prior to funeral time. Rev. Michael Moore(pastor) off. Interment Roselawn Memory Gardens. Family and friends assemble at the church 11:45AM Saturday.
