Elizabeth Mitchell

MITCHELL, Elizabeth H “Bette” passed away peacefully in her home November 5, 2017, surrounded by her family. She is preceded in death by her husband, John “Tiger Tom” Mitchell and beloved daughter, Sheryl L. Thomas. She is survived by daughter, Ida Aleas Mitchell; sons, Cary (Vanessa) and John (Shuron) Mitchell; grandchildren, Mia Thomas, James & Chevonne Booker; three great grandchildren; mother, Ida Cheatham; brother, Carl M Spencer (Sheila); brother-in-law, Calvin “Ghost” Smith; an aunt and uncle; and many other loving friends and relatives. A visitation service will be held Friday November 17, 2017, 6PM at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Ave. Memorial services will be held Saturday December 2, 2017, at 11AM at RCC, 214 Cowardin Ave. Rev.
