Ellen Carter

Departed this life October 26, 2018.  Ms.  Ellen Carter of Richmond. She was a teacher and educator and  reading specialist who taught in Richmond City and Henrico County Public Schools for over 30 years.   She is survived by three sisters, Bessie-Patricia Brown, Lillian McCollum and Cynthia Brown;  two aunts, Julia Johnson and Bessie Battle;   a host of nieces, nephews and cousins;  and other relatives and friends.  Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr.  Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue.  Omega Omega Services will be held Monday 11AM at City Church, 4700 Oakleys Lane followed by funeral services at 12 noon.  Dr.  Dimitri Bradley(pastor) off.  Interment Riverview Cemetery.
