Departed this life November 27th, 2023. Mrs. Farnelia Overton, age 77, of Richmond. She is preceded in death by her husband, Jesse Overton. She is survived by her daughter, Selena Overton; one grandson, Michael A. Freeman Jr.; one sister Deloris G. Murchison; one brother, Ordraul Morrison Gray(Mildred); a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; one sister- in- law, Mary Ann Shelton and other relatives and friends among them her bonus daughter, Yvette Williams. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue where Mrs. Overton can be viewed Tuesday from 10AM to 8PM and where funeral services will be held Wednesday at 1PM. Dr. Ricardo Brown off. Interment Riverview Cemetery. Family and friends assemble at the funeral home 12:45PM Wednesday.
