Francena Porter

Departed this life June 28, 2018.  Mrs.  Francena Porter, age 84, of Richmond.  She is preceded in death by her husband, William Porter Sr.  and one daughter, Patricia Tiller.  She is survived by two daughters, Barbara McMahon and Sharlene Johnson;  two sons, William H.  Jr.  and Marvin L.  Porter;  seventeen grandchildren;  52 great grandchildren;  four great great grandchildren;  one sister, Joyce Cole;  four brothers, George Jr(Shirley), Benjamin(Louise), Alexander(Louise) and Allen(Marilyn) Cole;  one aunt, Beatrice Morgan;  a host of nieces, nephews and cousins;  two sisters-in-law, Louise B.  and Cecelia Cole;  and other relatives and friends.  Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr.  Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue.  Funeral services will be held Saturday 11am at Mt.  Vernon Baptist Church, 1902 Rosewood Avenue where remains will lie in state on hour prior to funeral time.  Rev.  Michael Moore(pastor) off.  Interment Riverview Cemetery.  Family and friends assemble at the church 10:45AM Saturday.
