George Bailey

Departed this life September 15, 2017. George Bailey, age 79, of Richmond. He is preceded in death by one daughter, Yvette Bailey. He is survived by his wife, Rosetta Bailey; a grand daughter, Sigourney Bailey; one sister, Ethel Battle; two brothers, Richard(Inez) and Harold(Arleen) Bailey; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; sister- in- law, Evelyn Bailey; brother- in- law, Sammy Twiggs; and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue. The family will receive friends Wednesday at 12 noon followed by funeral at 1PM at Fifth Baptist Church, 1415 W. Cary Street where remains will lie in state one hour prior to funeral time. Rev. Earl Brown(pastor) off. Interment Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
