George Thomas

Departed this life April 15, 2019.  George Thomas, age 72, of Richmond.  He is preceded in death by his wife, Francina Thomas.  He is survived by his four daughters, Tiffany, Syreeta and Krystal Thomas and Tomeka Mitchell;  one son, Wendell Thomas(Ann-Marie);  four grandchildren, Christian, Jalen, Destinee and Kamryn;  one sister, Virginia Sturdivant;  one brother, Wayne Thomas(Sylvia);  a host of nieces, nephews and cousins;  one sister- in- law,  Martha Meredith(Thomas);  one brother- in- law, James Harrison and other relatives and friends among them a devoted Antony Berryman.  Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr.  Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue where the family will receive friends from 6:30 to 7:30PM Thursday.  Funeral services will be held Friday 1PM at Fifth Baptist Church, 1415 W.  Cary Street where remains will lie in state one hour prior to funeral time.  Rev.  Earl Brown(pastor) off.  Interment private.  Family and friends assemble at the church at 12:45PM Friday.
