Gertrude T. Johnson

Departed this  life October 2, 2018.  Mrs.  Gertrude Johnson, age 86, of Richmond.  She is preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd C.  Johnson.  She is survived by her son, Douglas Johnson;  one brother, James A.  Turner Jr.(Geneva); a host of nieces, nephews and cousins;  one sister- in- law, Edna M.  Jones;  and other relatives and friends.  Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr.  Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue where the family will receive friends from 3PM to 4PM Sunday.  Funeral services will be held Monday 11AM at Sixth Baptist Church, 400 S.  Addison Street where remains will lie in state one hour prior to funeral time.  Dr.  Yvonne Bibbs(pastor) off. Dr.  Peter M.  Wherry, eulogist. Interment Mt.  Calvary Cemetery.  Family and friends assemble at the church 10:45AM Monday.
