Henry Coleman

Departed this life January 4, 2018. Henry Ike Coleman, age 69, of Richmond. He was a member of the National Association of Letter Carriers, Branch 496, the Astoria Beneficial Club and the Young Men’s Love and Union Club. He is survived by his wife, LaGretta Coleman; two sons, Shawn Ike Coleman(Leslie) and Kevin Ike Coleman; two grandchildren, Tyler and Madison Clarke; two brothers, Romaniel(Vivian) and Keith Coleman; two uncles, Stanley(Gloria) and Rudolph(Daisy) Sykes; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; mother-in-law, Carrie Hudgins; a sister-in-law, Shirley Bumpers(Leon); and other relatives and friends among them Jeanne Franklin and Terry Strayhorn, who was like a daughter. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue where funeral services will be held Monday at 12 noon. Interment Forest Lawn Cemetery. Family and friends assemble at the funeral home 11:45AM Monday.
