Iris Hewlett

Departed, this life August 17th, 2023. Mrs. Iris India Thomas Hewlett, age 75, of Hampton, formerly of Richmond. She is preceded in death by her son, Hakeem Hewlett. She leaves to cherish her memory her husband, Wesley T. Hewlett III, son Wesley T. Hewlett IV, step daughter, Alyce Wheeler; seven grandchildren; two great grandchildren; one sister, Yoshida Bartley(Terry), one brother, Elwood Thomas(Saundra);   a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins; one brother- in- law, Apostle Roderick Hewlett(Bridgette); and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue where Mrs. Hewlett can be viewed Friday from 10AM to 8PM and where funeral services will be held Saturday at 10:30AM. Rev. Dr. Frederick Faison off. Interment Forest Lawn Cemetery. Family and friends assemble at the funeral home 10:15AM Saturday.
