James L. Bracey Jr.

Departed this life August 30, 2018.  James “Jimmy Lee” Bracey, Jr., age 80, of Richmond.  He was the founder of the West End Striders.  He is survived by his wife, Theresa Bracey;  daughter, Adrienne Derricott(Donald);   a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins;  three sisters- in- law,  Elois Willis, Claudette Pack; and Mary Bracey and other relatives and friends.  Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr.  Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue where the family will receive friends Wednesday from 6:30 to 7:30PM.  Funeral services will be held Thursday 12 noon at Fifth Baptist Church, 1415 W.  Cary Street where remains will lie in state one hour prior to funeral time.  Rev.  Earl Brown(pastor) off.  Interment Mt.  Calvary Cemetery. Family and friends assemble at church 11:45AM Thursday.
