Departed this life July 29, 2021. James Henry Davis III, age 31, of Richmond, formerly of Newport News. He is survived by his wife, Deja Davis; mother, Veronica Serbessa Dotson; father, James H. Davis Jr.; maternal grandmother, Jorsene Cooper; two sisters, Jessica Davis and Crystal Swan; brother, Joey Dotson; four aunts, Joan Davis, Bonny Davis, Barbara Overton (Craig), Anita Dotson, two uncles, Allan Sledge & Ken Hutcherson;several nieces, nephews and cousins; mother-in-law, Linda Lemus Chavarria(Cristian) father-in-law, William Motley III(Myra); grandparents- in-law; two sisters-in-law, Destiny and Raven Motley; one brother-in-law, Chase Motley; and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue where Mr. Davis can be viewed Thursday from 10 to 8PM and where funeral services will be held Friday at 1PM. Interment Riverview Cemetery. Family and friends assemble at the funeral home 12:45PM Friday.
