James L. Reynolds

James L. Reynolds Sr. was born on June 27, 1927 to the late Anne L. White. He was entered into eternal rest on November 19, 2020.

“Jimmy”, as he was called by many, was educated through the Richmond Public School system and graduated from Maggie L. Walker High School in 1941. He served in the U. S. Army, and worked various jobs during his life (i.e. John Marshall Hotel, MCV Hospital, etc.), and retired at the age of 82 from RRHA.

He was a faithful worshiper at Mount Vernon Baptist Church in Richmond, VA for many years. He was preceded in death by his mother, Anne L. White, his stepfather Joel White, his son, James L. Reynolds Jr., his daughter, Patricia A. Reynolds, and his grandson William West. Mr. Reynolds leaves to cherish precious memories his daughters Debra Reynolds Morris and Joyce Ann Kenney; six grandchildren Nikita Turpin (Jimmy), Christina Morris, Tyrone West, Margaret Logan (Alfred), Thomas West (Maria), Robert Kenny Jr, a host of great-grandchildren, and other relatives.
