James Henry Roots III

Departed this life October 14, 2017. James Henry “Chico” Roots III, age 63, of Richmond. He is preceded in death by one son, James Henry “Poncho” Roots IV. He is survived by his wife, Earline Roots; one daughter, Nickora Roots and two sons, Dustin Roots(Ron) and Vanness Wallace; five grandchildren; two sisters, Charmaine Roots Castille(Amos) and Desiree Roots Centeio(Axel); two brothers, Dr. Arthur Roots(Robin) and Brandon Roots(Brenda); a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; and other relatives and friends. Memorial services will be held at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue Friday at 3PM. Pastor Rodney Brown off. Family and friends assemble at funeral home 2:45PM Friday.
