Departed this life September 7, 2017. Jesse McPhail Jr., 85, of Oakland, California. He is survived by his wife ,Barbara J. McPhail; one daughter, Yolanda McKinley(Douglas F.); four sisters; Gerelene Mayfield(John), Esther Smith(George), Minora Hicks and Annie McCoy(Rev. Donald); two brothers; Clarence and Braxton McPhail; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; sisters-in- law; Josephine Lipscomb, Irene Bates, Carolyn Arrington, and Maxine Jenkins; and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue where the family will receive friends from 6 to 7PM Tuesday. Graveside services will be held Wednesday 11AM at Quantico National Cemetery.
