John Brown

Departed this life March 3, 2019.  John Brown, age 65, of Richmond.  He is survived by one son, Ryan Pittman;  one grandson, Andre Jones;  three sisters, Susie Brown, Linda Pryor(Noah) and Cynthia Watson(Ron);  eight brothers, Jeff Armistead(Minnie), and David(Sherry), William(Diane), Eric(Brenda), Sylvester(Anita), Stanley, Barry and Alonzal(Aundria) Brown; two aunts;  a host of nieces, nephews and cousins;  and other relatives and friends among them two god daughters, Ari and Asia Redmond.  Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr.  Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue where the family will receive friends from 3 to 4PM Sunday.   Funeral services will be held Monday 11AM at Cornerstone Baptist Church, 16 Horsepen Road, Farmville Virginia where remains will lie in state one hour prior to funeral time.  Rev.  Silas Blanton off.  Interment Virginia Veterans Cemetery at Virginia.  Family and friends assemble at the church 10:45AM Monday.
