John Richard Hall III

Departed this life November 7th, 2023. John Richard Hall III, age 71, of Richmond, formerly of Jacksonville, Florida. He was a dedicated and hard worker at his church. He was also a member of King David Lodge #28(Prince Hall affiliated). He is survived by his wife, Vivian B. Hall; one daughter, Stephanie Hall-Jones; three grandchildren, Aniya, Ayanna and Avery Jones; one uncle, Vernon King(Altamease); two brothers, Raymond(Dana) and Maquis(Latosha) King; a host of cousins; three brothers- in- law, Samuel Norris(Anna), Johnny Bryant Jr.(Gail) and Fritz Bryant; and other relatives and friends. Remains rest Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue where the family will receive friends Sunday November 19th from 3PM to 4PM. Funeral services will be held 11:30AM Monday, November 20th at Third Street Bethel African Methodist Episcopal Church, 614 N. Third Street where remains will lie in state one hour prior to funeral time. Rev. Elois Neal-Moore off. Rev. Reuben Boyd(pastor) eulogy. Interment Dale Memorial Park. Family and friends assemble at the church 11:15AM Monday.
