Morgan Johnson

Johnson, Morgan Donald, 81, of Richmond, departed this life on November 28, 2022. He was preceded in death by his parents, Frederick D. and Irma T. Johnson Sr; his sisters, Maria P. Smithers and Joan A. Clarke(George); his brothers, Frederick D. Johnson Jr.(Bertha), Fletcher M. Johnson(Julia) and a devoted niece, Dakota P. Johnson. He is survived by two sisters, Jean C Herbert(Doug); Barbara J. Woolfolk; two sisters-in-law, Bertha M. Johnson, Julia G. Johnson; one brother-in-law, George E. Clarke and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends among them devoted nephew, Ronald L. Johnson and friend, Rowena Jones. He was a proud retiree of Phillip Morris, a lifelong member of the Cathedral of the Sacred Heart and Knights of Columbus, and a passionate supporter of Virginia Union and Washington Commanders football. His remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue. Funeral services will be held Friday, December 9 at 11AM. Family and friends assemble at the funeral home 10:45 AM.
