Departed this life January 30, 2018. Joseph Holmes Jr., age 86, of Richmond. He is survived by his wife, Sylvia Holmes; two sons, Randall and Eric(Kim) Holmes; six grandchildren; two sisters, Jo Ann Bradian and Bessie(Walter) Wood; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; two sisters- in -law; and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, 12 noon at Ephesus Seventh Day Adventist Church, 3700 Midlothian Tnpk where remains will lie in state one hour prior to funeral. Dr. Gary Banks(pastor) off. Interment Greenwood Memorial Gardens. Family and friends assemble at the church 11:45AM Tuesday.
