Departed this life February 1st, 2021. Mrs. Joyce Thompson, age 66, of Richmond. She is survived by her husband, Larry Thompson; three daughters, Rataga Reed, Kimberly Reed and Tamika Thompson; one son, Joseph Thompson(Taisha); eleven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two sisters, Shirley Moore and Ruth Adams; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; mother- in- law, Alice Thompson; three sisters- in- law, Jennifer Reed, Andrea Chavis and Tracy Thompson; one brother- in- law, Andrew Thompson and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue where funeral services will be held Friday at 1PM. Interment private. The governor’s recommendation on social distancing will be adhered to. Family and friends assemble at the funeral home 12:45PM Friday.
