Kenneth Ray Smith

Kenneth “Smitty” Smith was born March 29, 1954, in Richmond, Virginia to the late George Sr. and Margaret Smith.  He departed this life February 4, 2022.

  He was preceded in death by his three sisters , Elizabeth Williams, Joyce Smith, Regina Plummer and his brother, George Smith Jr.

Smitty as they called him, was a talented Electrician who worked tirelessly at the Shipyard for many years.  He was known for his sense of humor, magic tricks and his most famous saying “Boing”.

He leaves to cherish in his memory his daughter, Raven Smith, sister LaVerne Easter, one aunt, Effie Womack (Charlie), two nephews, Eldridge Smith Jr. (Valerie), Mark Easter (Chandra), two nieces, Yvette Smith and Tomika Easter-Hayden (Daryl), a host of great nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
