Laura P. Goode

Departed this life February 3, 2020.  Mrs.  Laura P.  Goode, age 97, of Richmond.  She is preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Louis Goode Sr.  She is survived by four children, Christine Clarke(James), Esther Quarles, Cynthia Goode-Booker(Frank) and Louis Dexter Goode(Darlene);  seven grandchildren;  eleven great grandchildren; five great great grand children;  a host of nieces, nephews and cousins;  and other relatives and friends.  Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr.  Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue where the family will receive friends from 3 to  4PM Sunday.  Funeral services will be held Monday 1PM at Good Shepherd Baptist Church, 1200 N.  28th Street where remains will lie in state one hour prior to funeral time.  Dr.  Sylvester Smith(pastor) off.  Interment Forest Lawn Cemetery.  Family and friends assemble at the church 12:45PM Monday.
