Levell Pooler

age 76, departed this life May 17, 2019 at St. Mary's Hospital, Richmond, VA.   He is preceded in death by his parents, Timmons and Gussie Pooler;  three brothers, Freddie Lee Pooler, Rayford “Lewis” Pooler, and Bobby Jean Pooler; and one brother- in-law, Edward Cook (Charlotte, Fiance). He leaves to cherish his memories,  his wife of 50 golden years, Myra Ann Pooler; one son, Don Alonzo Hawkins (Leetisha);  Two grandsons whom he adored, Dominque Levell Hawkins and LeeVont`a Brown; brothers, Levern Pooler (Hazel, deceased), Leon Pooler (Barbara); Carnell  Pooler (Andreana); sisters, Loistine Harrison (Edward), Ernestine Pooler; Freddie Mae (Johnnie); sisters-in-law Ethel Mae Pooler and Gloria Lewis;  dedicated niece, Ayanna Yancey; one Godson, Henry Ottwan Atkins, IV (Crishawn); a host of nieces, nephews,  and many dear relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue, Richmond, VA.  Funeral services will be held Saturday May 25, 2019 at 12:00 Noon at Fifth Baptist Church, 1415 W. Cary Street where remains will lie in state one hour prior to funeral service.  Dr. Earl M Brown (Pastor) off.  Interment Riverview Cemetery. Family and friends assemble at the church 11:30 AM Saturday.
