Lillian Elizabeth Greene

Lillian E Greene, 98, of Richmond, VA departed this life Saturday, September 22, 2018 at home in Glen Allen, VA. She was a member of All Souls Presbyterian Church. She was a Past Matron of Fannie Lewis Chapter No. 4 and Charter member of the Astoria Wives Club. Lillian was preceded in death by her parents, Florence Chatmon Green and James Everett Green; and her son, James C Greene Jr “Curly”. She is survived by two daughters, Laverne Freeman (James) and Florence Jackson (Eugene); a daughter-In-law, Alfreda Greene; seven grandchildren, Thomas Dawson JR. (Sara), Kevin Dawson (Toye), Everett Greene (Veronica), Eric Greene, Tamela Samuels, Monica Greene and Chanda Williams; Fifteen great grandchildren and ten great-great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Ave., where the family will receive friends Friday September 28, 2018,  6:30 p.m.-7:30 p.m. Funeral services will be held 12:00 noon Saturday September 29, 2018 at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home chapel. Reverend Faye Cooper Baldwin officiating. Interment Forest Lawn Cemetery.
