Lorenzo George Burrell

Departed this life January 14th, 2022. Lorenzo Burrell Sr, age 83, of Richmond. He is preceded in death by one daughter, Brenda Myers. He is survived by his devoted wife, Florence Burrell; six daughters ,Maria Hicks, Zelda Goode, Anita Miller, Linda Mosby, Faye Chandler and Rhonda Holloway(Jarmal); four sons, Lorenzo Burrell Jr., Robert Scarborough(Shirley), Craig Burrell(Marvel) and Douglas Burrell; a host of grand and great grandchildren; one brother, James Burrell; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; one son- in- law, Henry Myers; one sister- in- law, Catherine Miller; and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue where Mr. Burrell can be viewed Friday from 10AM to 8PM. Funeral services will be held Saturday 12 noon at The Word Church, 4108 W. Clay Street where remains will lie in state one hour prior to funeral time. Rev. Robert Scarborough(pastor) off. Interment Oakwood Cemetery. Family and friends assemble at the church 11:45AM Saturday.
