Lula Lamb

Departed this life on May 20th, 2024. Former SFC/PSNCO at U.S. Army Mrs. Lula M. Lamb, age 65, of Richmond.

Lula is a 23-year veteran who has served in the US Army in finance, accounting, and personnel, retiring as a sergeant first class. She is a Gold Star Mother, a Member and former President of Military Order of the Cootie Auxiliary (MOCA) and Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary (VFW). She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert L. Fitzgerald I. She is survived by a daughter, Zahara (Halam) Fitzgerald; two sons, Stanley Lamb II (Angel Kenion) and Robert Fitzgerald II; one grandchild, Raine Lamb and a grand dog, Dutchess; two brothers, Alton Lamb and Timothy Lamb (Tracey), a host of nieces, nephews, cousins; and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue where the family will receive friends Thursday, May 30th from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM. Funeral mass will be held Friday, May 31st, at 11 AM at St. Elizabeth's Catholic Church, 2712 Second Avenue. Interment Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Family and friends assemble at the church 10:45 AM Friday.In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the VFW national home of Virginia.
