Margaret Ford Barnes

Departed this life on August 28, 2024. Mrs. Margaret Ford Barnes, age 81, of Richmond, is preceded in death by her husband, Calvin Barnes, her parents, Sylvester Ford Sr. & Willianna Ford, and her sister, Mary Ford Harris. She is survived by her son, Albert Muhammad (Smith) and his wife, Angela; her daughter, Traci Johnson (Anthony); five grandchildren: Alston (Kristen), Brittany Brown (Donavan), Darshana, Asia and Akeem; four great grandchildren: Ali, Jha-Mia, Saint Ah-Mir and Abram; one brother, Sylvester Ford Jr.; one uncle, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue where the family will receive friends on Sunday, September 8th from 3pm to 4pm and where funeral services will be held at 1pm on Monday, September 9th. Interment, Riverview Cemetery. Family and Friends assemble at the funeral home at 12:45pm on Monday.
