Martha Mayfield Gower

Martha Mayfield Gower, age 65, passed away peacefully on September 30, 2022. Martha graduated from George Mason University with a degree in voice.  She was a member of Plymouth  Haven Baptist Church in Alexandria, VA where she sang in the choir.  Martha spent the last ten years at Winthrop Manor in Richmond, VA. Martha was preceded in death by her parents, Perrin Gower Jr. and Mary Howell Gower. Surviving members of the family include daughter, Jessica Gower, brother Perrin Gower III (Nancy) and sister, Caroline Schoenfeld.  A service will be held 1PM Saturday, October 22, at the Immanuel Baptist Church, 3601 Monument Avenue, Richmond, VA.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the National Alliance on Mental Illness, PO Box 49104 Baltimore, MD 21297 or online at donate.nami.org.
