Martha Marie Shelton

Departed this life on January 21st, 2025. Ms. Martha M. Shelton, age 79, of Richmond. Martha attended the county schools in Goochland and was a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church. She later joined Mt. Calvary Baptist and was a member to R.I.T.A(Reaching in the Ages. She is preceded in death by two sons, Samuel & Andre Shelton and a sister, Virginia Carter who passed in October. She is survived by two sons, James(mother of is children Lenora) and Lance(Tanya) Shelton; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; five great-great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Barbara Gattison; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; daughter-  in -law,  Tracy Quales; and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue where Ms. Shelton can be viewed Friday January 31st from 10AM to 8PM and where funeral services will be held Saturday, February 1st at 12 noon. Rev. Cory Taylor off. Interment Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Family and friends assemble at the funeral home 11:45 AM Saturday.
