Mary Jean-Deloris Henley

Departed this life November 12th, 2023. Mrs. Mary Jean Henley, age 84, of Richmond. She is preceded in death by her husband, Menchion Henley Sr., one son, Wayne Henley, one grandson, Donte Wheeler, one great granddaughter, Kharisma Henley, parents Richard and Carrie Studfin and her only brother, Willie Studifin. She is survived by six daughters, Brenda Grooms, Jean Ross(Anthony), Annette Graves, Wanda Wheeler(Dion), Margaret Chennault(Nick Jr.) and Judy Hope; three sons Menchion Jr.(Lori Ann), Darryl and Billy Henley(Dana); sixteen grandchildren; 30 great grandchildren; five great great grandchildren; one sister, Elenor Payne; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; one sister- in- law, Lorraine Henley; one brother- in- law, Earl Henley; and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue where Mrs. Henley can be viewed Friday from 10AM  to 8PM and where funeral services will be held Saturday at 11AM. Bishop John Harris off. Interment Riverview Cemetery. Family and friends assemble at the funeral home 10:45AM Saturday.
